Welcome to SBP.com v.4.0.

We're back. Please take a moment to take a look around the new website. Unfortunately, we're still in the process of debugging and moving a lot of the content over from the last version, so some sections will be pretty empty for the time being. The film section in particular is pretty gutted at the moment, but that should get filled out substantially in the coming weeks. We're working on a handful of short films, including one entitled Realpolitik, which we're planning to shoot within the next month.

In the meantime, he are some newish things to check out:

The Graveyard is back, with new old music, including a ten-year-old basement jam tape of Growth of Alliance, mostly songs they never released. Everything that was there before will eventually be available again, once we finish reformatting everything. This will be our highest priority, since that was probably the most popular thing on the old site.

New live videos and album review for Happy Body Slow Brain, featuring former members of Facing New York and Taking Back Sunday.

Our friend Mike Albarelli is now accepting session drumming gigs. He's available for recording or live work. Mike's an excellent, versitile musician and all-around awesome dude. Give him your money. Here's a sample of his work. He has a head in real life.

SBP founder DMS is working on his first feature film, entitled Dog Tooth Blues, set to be released in the spring or summer of next year. Here's a quick teaser trailer.

We've done away with the forum, as it mostly became a cesspool of porn and dead bird pictures. To offset that loss, we've made it so you can post comments directly on any article on the site, provided you register, which we encourage. For more free-form discussion, we encourage you to check us out on Facebook. For porn and dead bird pictures, we direct you to the rest of the Internet.

As always, we're accepting new contributors. Click "contribute" under the about link above for more information.
