Props to Kirk Shelton, (Fingertight, Dead Drift, the Few) for bringing this band to our attention. He writes:

Back in Fingertight's hay-day there was a band we played with several times and I saw the drummer often working in the Drum dept. at Guitar Center. I got this demo from him and it really grew on me. The timbre of the singer's voice and the lyrics to the exceptional playing of the rest of the band just made them one of my favorite local bands from back then. Definite influences from the band Dredg which isn't a bad thing. I really would have liked to see them go further but that was a really saturated music scene back then, with a lot of talented bands. Get in your way-back machine set it for Northern Ca. 2002. This is/was WEST AT SEVEN.
