Yet another affiliated project of the Postman Syndrome/East of the Wall camp, Dilation featured drummer Seth Rheam and temporarily vocalist Jim Stang before his departure and their transition to an instrumental band. After a series of lineup changes, they changed their name to Dangerous Cowboy before finally calling it quits in 2010. They made some great stuff in their tenure, think Red Sparowes or Russian Circles with more atmosphere and synths and better drumming. Rheam and guitarist Justin Hock went on to play with Postman etc. guitarist Chris Alfano and Tom Schlatter (You and I, Hundreds of AU, a million other bands) in NY in 64. A version of "Malechite" later ended up on that band's final album, Safety, in 2019.
